Like An Old Dog Should

8x10, Oct 23, 2026

We lost our sweet Daisy last year.

I started writing this song in 2004 when my old pup Doctor began showing some signs of his age. It never felt finished, so I put it on the shelf and it remained there until I revisited it while processing saying goodbye Daisy. The last verse came like a gentle nudge, just like when she would nudge your arm to give her a pet. …I consider it a gift song... Thank you, Daisy, Lou, and Doc, and all the four legged friends who show us unconditional love. 🐾

Fall is officially here and we couldn’t be more excited to be celebrating the season at the Harvest Music Festival at Pearlstone, Celebrating 25 Years! We’ll be joining three other fantastic bands at Pearlstone’s new lakeside Greenwald Amphitheater and Myerberg Stage next Saturday, October 18th for their celebration of 25 years of their beautiful thriving acreage and new live-growth roof amphitheater.

The Festival will have hands-on activities for families, educational tours, and U-Pick pumpkin and winter squash harvesting. Yum!

Looking forward to this one!

5425 Mt. Gilead, Rd., Reistertown, MD

The lineup for the day:

1:15-2:30 PM Braddock Heights
2:45-4:00 PM Mama’s Black Sheep
4:15-5:30 PM The Instigators
5:45-7:00 PM Geraldine

Introducing: Light Street Trio, a new swing-jazz combo based in Baltimore.

Featuring @jordanmichaelcall on guitar, @jontigert on drums and @knorr.cal on bass, the trio mixes classic standards with original compositions, hearkening back to the rhythmic, upbeat jazz of the '50s and '60s.

If you'd like to book Light Street Trio, reach out to lightstreettrio@gmail.com or follow the link in the bio.

Remember when Dylan went electric? Kai and William broke out the electric guitar we had so much fun revisiting some songs in this format! ⚡️ Check out the full video on our YouTube channel, and certainly check out Tim Newby‘s book, ‘The original Louisville slugger: the life and times of forgotten baseball legend Pete Browning’. ⚾️. #baseballsongs #songwriter

A look at the first rehearsal of a new trio project, @lightstreettrio, with the immaculate musical stylings of @knorr.cal on the bass and @jontigert on the kit!

This is an original tune of mine called Light Street, after a library Jon and I played at one time. Real ones will hear the strong Poll Winners influences (check that out if you don't know it!)
