Didn't take many photos this week. Celebrating 3 years of parenthood keeps you busy. Happy birthday to my 3 year old who thinks he's 25.

1. Black art in Black homes matters. My son will know who he is walking into the world. Imagery starts at home.

2. New paint job and sagging headliners. Another day, another phase of the project to tackle.

3. Sometimes I come across work I forgot about. It doesn't make it any less dope.

4. Large art and large smiles

5. Toddlers don't want to be distracted, they want to be involved. Wax on wax off my boy!

6. I miss teaching, but I love leading. Experimental student work from one of my art workshops

7. Good materials matter. I painted that 7 years ago, looks brand new.

8. Quality control, but also put Black women first.

9. 32 feet wide. 2 days.

10. Art prints that I'll release one day. Don was performing a toddler durability test and he's happy to report that the heavy archival paper passed ✔

11. Kids are a mirror

12. Hot take: summers are not for convertibles. Who wants a sunburn bro?

Knowledge Equality or I like to say the “5% Day”. Meaning to know that your mind is equal to the teachings that was set in motion by the Man himself. Got a chance to get with my brothers who I haven’t seen in a while as well as meet some for the first time. All minds are one! Peace! @hmedinayouthoffice @sirius_mathematics_allah

New York isn’t just a city I photograph.

It’s a city that keeps introducing me to people.

Still sitting with the fact that an image born from the anxiety of my career has found permanence inside a Leica Gallery New York book.

It doesn’t quite feel real, even though I find myself flipping through its pages every few hours just to make sure it actually happened.

What this experience has reminded me more than anything is the importance of tangible things. In a world that moves faster every day, there’s something sacred about holding a photograph, a book, or a print in your hands. Something that asks you to slow down and stay awhile.

It’s also made me appreciate the people in my corner—friends, family, mentors, and many of you on the internet who have supported my work long before moments like this arrived. The love you’ve shown me means more than any publication ever could.

Because of that, I wanted to create a way for more people to live with the work, not just scroll past it.

Today, I’m launching Club ZTM — a monthly print subscription that makes collecting my imagery as accessible as a matcha latte. Each month you’ll receive 2x postcards made of my imagery, field notes, and the exact shadow-work prompt that inspired the image itself.

My hope is simple: that these photographs don’t just hang on your wall, but become part of your life. The same way this image became a huge part of how I navigate the world and my many emotions.

Link in bio if you’d like to join the club.

We made a book.
And printed work lasts longer than we do.
Overjoyed to have overseen this project.
It’s always been about community and ours centers around the power of storytelling through the practice of photography.

I wish you all could have been there. But it’s all good. There’s still so much more to come.

Shout out to my sister @cherissmay for this image.

1. Leica 100 // New York : this book was a real labor of love. Thank you to all that made it possible.

2. The photography is only part of the story. The lived experience that we glimpse in the work gives it meaning through time.
Shout out to the legend Willie Way for first allowing me to photograph him. Secondly for coming in to see himself celebrated in the book. Amazing to share that moment with you sir.

3. Michael Foley and I built this project from the ground up. We started a year ago and here we are. This image is the two of us taking delivery the Leica 100 book project and it was captured by @felix.vollmann .
We must thank everyone that made this possible.

4. There were 36 photographers represented in this project. And that’s only a small sample of what our community looks like. Crazy thing; this community is bigger than we even realize. You’re a part of it. Even if we haven’t met yet.

5 & 6 Bookend what this is and where we are. Sorry if I missed an add; I can only do so many.
Much love to all. Shout out to these memories.
Pick up your camera, capture some more.

Peace, peace, peace

Hit up @photoville and spent some time with some OG legends, some new legends, and legends in the making.

@reallouismendes let me take a portrait and asked me why I didn’t use a flash - told him I hadn’t tried it on medium format yet so he took a flash head out of his briefcase and put it on my Mamiya and I grabbed another picture of him with it (2nd photo of him in carousel)

Got to meet @michelleagins with @renaissanceman @zaitoldme and @knowledge_bennett

Spent quality time with Philly street King @shansnapz and we both photographed @jetsetterproblems who had my fave installation at Photoville. And got to meet the good folks at @vsco - it was a great day
