install views of my work in ‘MIX U’ - coming down in less than a week !

join us for a closing reception:
Sunday, September 27th | 6-9pm
City State Enterprises, 6381 nw 2nd ave

the large xerox print is the sister image to a work shown originally in my solo presentation @oolitearts a few years ago in the window of a Walgreens. it’s sourced from a 35mm film negative that I photographed in 2012 when I first moved to Miami. the height in this exhibition was determined by the door to enter the space. I’ll share more about the framed works another time.

Join us on September 10th for the opening of MIX U, a group exhibition sharing works by O’Neal Bardin III, Phillip Karp, Grace Knox, Zoel Lintz, and Jacob Valle.

MIX U stands as a progression from something really real to really fake. Between the familiar, domestic language of natural material and digital imagery resembling that of Newgrounds artwork.
