Oh my Knoxy. How this little boy cracks my chest wide open. I wish I could just freeze him right here, this age where I can still catch him when he runs to me, feel his growing hands clench around my neck for the best hugs, read him a book while rubbing his feet at night, or watch him wiggle into any space he can find just to sit next to me. 🥹

I don’t quite understand the brain chemistry between a mother and son… but whatever it is, this one brings me to my knees. 💔

I can’t believe he’s 6 today. Time is stampeding across my heart, so I think I’ll just stare into those big brown eyes and those dimpled cheeks ……because I know these arms won’t always be able to cradle him much longer.
