Sometimes the best part of a ride is who you happen to run into along the way. 🏍️🤙

Yesterday, while riding Moonshiners 28, we stopped at Dry Falls and I finally got to meet Knucklehead and Patch from Knuckleheaded Adventures after following them on Facebook for a while. Pretty cool getting to put faces with the names and meet them out on the road!

If you’re headed to Maggie Valley or Western NC and want to explore some of the best roads and trails in the mountains—on-road or off-road—check out Knuckleheaded Adventures or look up Aaron “Patch” Dean. They know these mountains and can hook you up with a great guided adventure.

🔥 Don’t just ride through the mountains—go explore them. Pick your adventure, get off the beaten path, and let these guys show you some of the best riding Western NC has to offer. 🏍️⛰️🤙

I've been processing the last few days and searching for the right words to describe them. And I'm not sure that I could ever do them justice. We knew there'd be lots of emotions throughout and some moments were very heavy. But in the middle of the grief and sadness, it was beautiful to see so many come together to honor Bethany. There are some things that are much bigger than yourself, and this ride was one of them. The day of her funeral, there was the most gorgeous sunrise - pink, gold, and orange. Looking around and taking in all the people who came out to support, motorcycles stretching ahead and behind as far as I could see, was a feeling I'll never forget. I'm so thankful to be a part of this community of selfless, supportive, and loving people. And I love my Alabama and Tennessee moto sisters so very much @charm3dmotosisters @motosisterscollective @thelitasnashville. Y'all are a light in the darkness and riding with each and every one of you heals my soul. It is an honor and a privilege to ride beside you and I don't take a single moment spent with y'all for granted. @ridewithsparkle, thank you for
your heartfelt words and leading Bethany's Ride💚 - you were amazing.✨️ And thanks to @knuckleheadedadventures for putting the word out and riding with us. I'll switch spots with you so you can ride on the right anytime. Getting to meet Knuck and give him some loves was definitely therapy on a really difficult day, thank you for being so gracious.
Ride in Paradise, Bethany. @my.poisonivy
May your beautiful soul rest well.💚🕊

Look who stopped by Southern Honda Powersports! 🐾👀

We had a couple of familiar faces roll in today: Patch & Knuck from @knuckleheadedadventures 🐾🏍️💨

These two are always chasing the next adventure, and we’re glad they made Southern Honda Powersports one of their stops while they were back in town.

Great seeing you guys and we can’t wait to see where the next adventure takes you...

Portraits of the Road // 003 Knucklehead

Some riding partners choose each other.

Some just know.

Knucklehead first jumped onto the back of Patch’s dirt bike as a puppy and never looked back. Since then, they’ve crossed nearly 100,000 miles together, explored 47 states, completed the Trans America Trail, and reminded thousands of people that adventure has room for everyone. Patch, a combat veteran in recovery, and Knucklehead spend their journey encouraging others, speaking at recovery meetings, visiting veterans and children, and proving that healing can happen one mile at a time. You can donate to their cause in the link in their bio and follow along on their adventures.

Thanks for stopping by Yellowstone Harley-Davidson. See you down the road, friends.
