ONE WEEK IN MALAYSIA 🇲🇾 From tattooing at @house_of_oma_ in Kuala Lumpur to meeting some of the OGs of traditional tribal tattooing at the @malaccatattooconvention, this trip reminded me why I love being a tattoo artist in the first place. Travelling, discovering new studios, exchanging knowledge with artists from around the world and finding a sense of community wherever you go. I felt like an apprentice again, absorbing every bit of knowledge I could, surrounded by people whose work I’d admired for years. And somewhere along the way, I realised that leaving Berlin and taking this leap into a new chapter was the right decision after all. Being around other heavily tattooed people also felt a little like home, a reminder that you’re never quite as alone as you sometimes think. Huge thanks to the House of Oma team, everyone I met in Kuala Lumpur and all the artists who made the Malacca Tattoo Convention such a memorable experience. Your kindness, generosity and passion made this week unforgettable. What a day. 🔥 House of OMA was buzzing from early afternoon straight through to late night. People coming and going, tacos disappearing off the pass, drinks flowing, conversations going, bodies on the dance floor, and a few walking out with fresh ink. Big thanks to La China Poblano and Invite Only KL for bringing this one to life with us. As the venue partner, we were happy to open up the space for it, and we had so much fun putting this one together. This is the kind of collab we love being part of. Roham, Jaelyn & Qhroma brought sets that were nothing short of amazing and carried the mood all night long. And to everyone who came through, thank you for making it what it was. Always happy to talk partnerships and collabs for the space at OMA. Reach out, let’s make something happen.

We’ve been incredibly blessed with a community that genuinely cares for and supports one another. When we built Sky Society, we always dreamt of creating a space like this but what it has become is beyond our wildest dreams. A special thank you to the friends who showed up for us when things got hard, who helped us through the little crises and growing pains along the way. And to this community the people who come to dance, to celebrate, to connect, and most importantly, to let each other be exactly who they are. Sky Society was always meant to be a space for people. Big love to @reubens.kl for having OMA at the Merdeka Cookout! Always grateful to be invited into spaces built around good people, good energy and community. This one had plenty of all three.
