Thank you for having me as the MC and moderator of tonight’s HipHop dance discussion panel! Many important matters were brought up and discussed. Many more of these needed!

Thank you to all who showed up and engaged!
Thank you to @soulriver1970 and @rickyboycarranza for making this happen!

I’ll be moderating and leading a panel discussion tomorrow on some relevant and critical topics of today’s direction and growth of our HipHop dance culture.

As some of you know I’ve had strong opinions which I have shared public about individuals and organizations in Norway who have lead Breaking as a sports-form towards the journey of the Paris Olympics. Now with that journey being behind us, the experience we sit back as members of the culture are vital for us to discuss and debate, for a better unifying and improvements towards the next steps, for the culture and those who might find themselves leading from the offices.

This will be the first panel discussion about HipHop in Norway after the Olympics and I’m very happy that one of the pioneering members in Norway, @soulriver1970 has taken this initiative to create this event and a platform to have an open dialogue.

Guests on the panel represent some of the pioneering, some who helped nurture our HipHop culture’s modern evolution, and some of today’s active members within the performing and entertainment scene of the Norwegian HipHop dance culture!

Before the panel discussion there will be a documentary filmed shown as well, called “Beyond HipHop” by dancer, choreographer and award winning director @rickyboycarranza.

“Beyond Hip hop is an educational documentary film about finding the real definition of hip hop dance in contrast to street dance. It is an in-depth examination of this unique dance culture, the major dance styles considered integral elements in the umbrella of hiphop, their origin and the confusion surrounding them.”

See you guys there Thursday at MelaHuset✌🏼
