Simply Put, I do dope sh*t 🤩

We’ve all been asked the question, “so what do you do?” while out meeting new people or networking. And for a long time, I had no concrete or polished answer. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I often responded by sharing my official work titles, what problems I help clients with, or what skills I commonly use. But no matter what I said, no answer seemed like enough for what it is that I truly do like:

🎯 Create individualized documents, plans, and strategies to help people achieve their goals 📝

📶 Increase entrepreneurs’ compensation and access to capital for their business ideas 💡

👩🏾‍🏫 Teach experienced professionals knowledge, skills, and tips to better compete in their business or career 💪🏾

But I do recognize that saying all that is a mouthful 🤭

So the next time someone asks me, “What do you do?”, I’m going to keep Jill Scott’s song in mind and say, “I Do Dope Sh*t” 😌

Get in the comments and let me know what kinda dope sh*t that you do that benefits someone else positively? 👇🏾

Congratulations are in order for 2023 scholar and now *first-generation university graduate* Amaris Hodge. Amaris graduated yesterday with his Bachelor of Science in Media & Entertainment Arts (Video Arts). Amaris is one of the most brilliantly creative minds one could know, a talented digital creator and documentarian. Also a member of USM’s FLY ART INC. and a TRIO scholar, he certainly left his mark on the University of Southern Mississippi. While we will certainly miss his presence, we look forward to the wonderful things he will do moving forward. Congratulations, Amaris! 🎓 👏
