Oh Phillipines what have you done to me ?!

Thank you for slowing me down in a world where structure, work, busy-ness & plans are my forte, and gently reminding me of the things I truly love. Thank you for the unplanned mornings, the quiet moments on the sand, the laughter that comes without reason, giving me time to write again and to question everything.

Thank you for showing me that joy can be found in the simplest things… humbling myself in the waves while surfing (if you can call what I did out there surfing), sharing stories for hours with strangers who feel like friends, the competitiveness in games, tasting food that I’ll never forget, and singing along to songs that no one really knows the lyrics to.

Every smile, every sunrise, every fleeting moment here has left a mark. A week was suppose to be enough for now, but I think there’s a lot more there for me than I thought 🤍

I don’t think my mind will rest until I return again so it’s a good thing I like to spontaneously jump on planes ✈️
