Chicago…Your wellness homegirl with culinary skills checking in 😉—

Today I had the honor of serving as a panelist for Hot Girl Nutrition at Black Girl Wellness Fest, and what an incredible conversation it was.

As the founder of The Healthy Swap™, my mission is simple: to help people change their relationship with food. Not through perfection. Not through restriction. But through realistic choices, small swaps, and giving ourselves permission to enjoy food while caring for our bodies.

One of my favorite parts of today’s conversation was reminding women that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Life gets busy—and that’s okay.

I’m grateful to BlackGirl Wellness Fest, Blackgirl Vitamins, the organizers, my fellow panelists, and every woman who showed up, asked thoughtful questions, laughed with us, and shared this space.

Chicago, thank you for welcoming me with open arms. I’ll be leaving with new connections, new inspiration, and a heart that’s even more committed to this work.

Food. Wellness. Community. 💚

One of my favorite things is when clients personalize their session. So I was obviously excited when Kobi wanted to include some of her grandmother’s bible in some of the shots. It adds such a heartfelt and individual element to the photos🤍

To my niece Kobi! Today was absolutely beautiful! I am so happy and inspired by your accomplishments! I know you will continue to achieve and do great things! Mom & Dad were celebrating from above! You are now a SIUC Alumni. Following in the footsteps of your grandfather, mom, and aunt. Now let’s go to Disneyland!!!!! Whooohooo!
