I survived. I danced. I cried. I CLOSED.

6 months, hundreds of shows, and a family I didn’t see coming. My last bow on the voyager and then I walked off that ship with my head high.

Overweight luggage? ($200 tbe) leaving with lessons, love, and my peace intact? priceless.😅

Life’s been lifey lately, loss, travel, transition. But like Nicki said, this is a moment for life. I’m taking a beat to breathe, to grieve, to glow up, and then i’m back. Filled with gratitude for those I could not do this without any of you!🧡😍😭

And to those tuning in from the sidelines, thanks for watching. hope you learned something.

I don’t want to make a sappy caption for this post but I feel so sappy towards this contract.
The people, the places, the love, the tears and the whiskey got me through one of my favourite and hardest contracts I’ve done. I can’t believe how much I miss it already - complete Stockholm syndrome mixed with a side of separation anxiety.

I’ve heard the horror stories of working on ships: big egos and bad attitudes, directors who can’t direct, shoddy musicians, etc.
I expected at least some amount of them to come true for me, but I never expected that I would have the exact OPPOSITE story!

I was on board for less than a month, but in that time I met so many amazing people who were nothing but kind to lil ol’ me, and I wanted to take a moment to show them some love

If you don’t already know, I’m moving to NYC in less than a week. I’m a little nervous about it for some reason! 🥸. But everyone I’ve met has given me so much love and support and I’m signing off feeling revitalized and ready to take on this next era of my life

I had the sweetest, funniest, best music director EVER and all of the guys in the orchestra were such a hang that we were regularly the loudest table in the mess

It was a short time, but it was a great time. Thank y’all for such a lovely experience, peace out ♥️ ✌️
