The talk series "a student formerly known as..." continues!

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the HfG, last semester in the seminar "Rabotti Rabotti" we took up the question of what became of the students of the HfG after graduation. This is how we came up with the idea of creating a publication and a series of talks that would shed light on both the beautiful sides and the hurdles of professional life. "a student formerly known as..." is not a classic portfolio showcase, but rather a discussion round about entering the working world and professional life, projects that go hand in hand with studying and melancholic reminiscing about one's own time at the HfG. Our goal is to keep the round as honest as possible and not make a taboo out of self-employment, money and morals.

Our next guest is Gerwin Schmidt, who will be talking to us on Tuesday, 6.12.2022 at 18.00 in the KD Studio. Gerwin was there at the birth of the HfG Karlsruhe and was one of the first diploma students to graduate in 1997. Today, he is himself a professor at ABK Stuttgart and works independently in his graphic design office in Munich.

We are looking forward to it!
