I'm turning 28 today. A few days ago my sister reminded me how I always used to think birthday posts like this were kinda cringe, just as much as explaining that in a caption like this was kinda cringe.
And yet, here we are
Happy birthday to me

Today is a very special day.
Together with my best friends, I’m thrilled to announce that our second album, "Balance is Gone", is out now. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created. We poured so much love, emotion, and energy into this project, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to share this journey with. Love you @koenruijs @stef_wielie @stefleijten & Luc Lamee

This moment really means a lot to me, and I would be deeply grateful if you took the time to listen.

I’d like to give a special thanks to:

Jurriaan Sielcken for being involved by producing, mixing, and mastering the album.

Ingrid Enache For the photography, artwork, and visual identity surrounding the album. @ing

Bo Menning for his involvement and support during the recording of Sea of Ants and Stray.

And to everyone else who supported us along the way: thank you if you came to a show, thank you if you bought an album, and thank you if you listened to our music. Thank you if you’ve been involved in any way over the past five years, I’m endlessly grateful for you.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Dripping Trees will no longer continue as a five-piece. These past five years have been an incredible journey, and I’m so thankful for all the moments we’ve shared together. While things are changing, we are definitely not stopping.

See you again someday!

P.S. there are still some tickets left for our album release show the 30th of November. @norbertinedupont will play a set as well, and it will be the last chance ever to see us play in this formation. Don't miss out!! (Ticket link in bio)
