Our capacity to be kind to ourselves through all adversity is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and the world around us. It’s so freeing to live this specific life I’ve been blessed with. For my birthday all I ask and pray for is for all of you, wherever you are in your journey, to just be kinder and more gracious to yourselves. I’m honored to be apart of so many lives and to have such meaningful connections. The goal was always to be a living Lighthouse in this darkness, so I’ll never stop shining. Never ever ever ever will I stop loving you or this world. The first SilkSamurai in human history. ♊️ 5/30

Ebony Blades is a mid-contemporary techwear label by SilkSamurai. This was the OG vision, the blueprint. Make something everyone could enjoy. Functional and designed with everyone in mind. Champloo and Champloo:Ronin follow the same principles but has always been from an individualistic approach. But Ebony Blades is the uniform.

In the Silkyway comics, the Original Ebony Blade, a trenchcoat made by Silk, is stolen by Seam Reaper and given to Anu, who reverse engineers the piece. He mass produces it, building not just a fortune, but also a cult following who would unite to build the largest criminal organization in the world.

I’m going to be updating the site daily with a new piece from either Champloo, Champloo:Ronin, Ebony Blades as well as merch for Silkyway. Building a fashion house and a comic universe that work in tandem in silence has been so tiring but now everything just makes sense. So let’s just go. ⚔️

They say that music videos are dying, but what is also dying is the connection we have one another. Rather it be the art or the sense of community, we have grown too far away from each other. We are allowing the platforms that were once meant to connect us, to stray us further away from humanity. It is why so many of us do not understand the harms of AI and predatory capitalism. We should not create art solely for a big buck , fame or views; we should be forming bonds with others and expressing ourselves, our emotions, and our resistance to the demise of compassion for one another.
Too many guitar music videos exude the want to be a virtuoso or to impress others; a self centered show the skill you have obtained. It is understandable to be proud of yourself in those achievements, but I believe the best way to represent that is to show off the connections you have created through your music.
Thats why the production and groove of my songs mean as much to me as the guitar work.
Going forward I want to continue to connect with people and inspire the world to do so as well, even if a music video is no longer a money making tactic but rather a penniless art statement.

Free the world, protect the women and children, and no one deserves to be treated like they are subhuman because of where they are born.

SilkSamurai:Empyrean is OUT NOW via SilkSamurai.com

5 years ago we decided to take this challenge on. 3 rewrites and 5 redraws later. Tesher, you did it my brother. I’m proud of you beyond comprehension. The synchronicity we’ve forged has made this possible. A brotherhood formed on discipline, respect, honor and loyalty. I’m honored to even witness your legend. I couldn’t pave the SilkyWay without.

Special thanks to the Legendary @marconelor for taking the time to guide us artistically and giving us the game with open arms.
