Whew! My First Hybrid Games @thehybridgames.uk I still cannot believe I finished all ten stations. This was the best experience of my life…brutal, humbling, electrifying. I did not prepare the way I wanted. Most days I was training before work, half-asleep at dawn, with a nervous system already fried from long shifts… But I showed up. And I finished. Less than 2 years in the UK after moving from Ghana, with no background in this kind of training… So yes, I am letting it all out. Because this is my moment.🔥 As a first-timer, giving this race everything and crossing that final line… I am proud of myself in a way I have never felt before. Could I have done better? Absolutely. Will I return stronger? Without question. But today! This moment!…was about proving to myself that you can start something you are not fully ready for… and still rise to meet it. And truth be told: I don’t think I could have finished without my friends and family in the crowd. Their voices carried me through every rep, every burn, every doubt. This one is for the history books. And trust me… more Hybrid Games coming soon. If you are thinking about starting… start. You don’t need to be ready…you just need to show up.
