@mercato_mission is an authentic and delicious Italian restaurant in @4thstreetcalgary ! They are celebrating their 20th anniversary and we had a chance to check them out for dinner and tried:

🍅 Caprese
🍝 Gigli - Calabrese sausage pasta
🥩 Bistecca - Steak
🍄‍🟫 Funghi
🍰 Cheesecake

Everything was SO amazing, we loved how fresh the caprese salad was, the gigli pasta was flavourful and the steak was cooked to perfection. The cheesecake was also a great way to end our meal and was super light and fluffy. We got seated at the counter where we got to watch the chefs cook and it was so cool! It was like a whole production, everything went so smoothly and it was such a well run kitchen. The food was great but what really blew us away was the service, everyone was super friendly and we had such an amazing time!
