Grateful to have made it to level 31 and to get to celebrate with my Grandma who'll be 84 on Wednesday. Thanks for all your prayers and good thoughts for her. 💛🥳
.
Please enjoy an awkward compilation of last night's wonderful friends, yummy eats, pottery painting, and a Stevie serenade on sax. 🥳🥰👌🏿
.
I had to run to the dr this morning and even the nurse there gave me a fuschia wrap after a blood draw and a bday chocolate when he read the date on the bracelet.

I 💛 Ankara Accessories!

The rich color and vibrant prints are instant showstoppers and effortlessly *make* any ol' outfit!

Here's a sampling of some of the ways I accessorize with Ankara:
1️⃣ Boss Director @strictlybiz38 in my fabric covered button earrings
2️⃣ A few girlfriends at my birthday Sip & Sew with @sewcreativelounge with cute clutch bags we made
3️⃣ Ankara-covered @converse thanks to a workshop with @kolormeawesome
4️⃣ & 5️⃣ @anayagracedesigns & @shontell68 testing out the satin-lined head gear I gifted them at our last #GirlsTrip
6️⃣ Infinity scarf testing
7️⃣ @nekimeya & T'challa with one of my key fob/coin pouches
8️⃣ A table full of Ankara accessories as I'm all set up & peddling my wares
9️⃣ Fabric fan from Ghana that I cant wait to learn how to make
🔟 Do masks count?!?! Of the 1000+ I've made since the pandemic, I'm sure at least 85% were Ankara 😷🤷🏾‍♀️😄

Happy Ankara Appreciation Week!!! 💛❤💚🖤

Challenge hosted by @julietuzor_
& @thatlenaking, thanks ladies!

Support (register, like, share, follow) my amazing friend's black-owned, woman-owned, DMV-local, small business startup called Kolor Me Awesome! Check my story for more info. Link to register in the comments and in my bio! I have taken many of her classes and paint parties and it's always the best time! Had one for my mom's decade bday a few months ago and my mom and the whole fam had a blast.

Let's keep the New Black Fridays movement going, spreading Black Love and Black wealth every Friday (why not?!?!) 🖤

Today I'm spotlighting @kolormeawesomeart, created by a talented young artist who shares her creativity with the community by way of cute cards, amazing art and my fav, cool classes like her Bleach Tye Dye Class that I took last month and ended up with this one-of-a-kind hoody! Thanks for my "private session" Karmyn, I'll DEFINITELY be back 😉 🎨 💛
