I had such a wonderful opportunity to do my second mission trip to Sierra Leone, West Africa!
Thank you Jesus so much for the opportunity to serve the people of Sierra Leone!!! We spent most of our time with the kids of the Waterloo and Wellington orphanage, we also did outreach in two juvenile detention centers, two maximum prisons, I got to hold a medical clinic at Rokbop, which is a remote jungle village, and so much more!! I already deeply miss being there and all that entails!!! If you have any questions whatsoever please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask me!!!

“But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago. They are constantly in my thoughts. I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.” - Psalm 77: 11-12

Orphans loved on, prisoners set free, broken people met. Not I, but Christ through me. I can’t believe all I’ve seen God do here for so long. Thankful for the years of continued ministry here & that I’m able to witness and take part in a small part of the story He is writing in Sierra Leone.

My first trip to Africa was more than a journey—it was a pouring out of my heart. In Sierra Leone, I learned what it means to truly love, to serve, to be present in both joy and pain. There were moments that stretched me, moments that broke me open—but even in the suffering, there was something so deeply beautiful being formed.

I wouldn’t rewrite a single second. Because somehow, the joy ran deeper than the hardship, fuller than the exhaustion—it lingered, it stayed, it changed me.

And the most breathtaking part… is knowing that this wasn’t the end of the story. I get to go back. I get to love again, serve again, and step right back into something that marked my soul forever. 💕
