Next Saturday 🔊 Shades of Discourse returns September 19: Pull up!

This time, we ask 💭 What happens when Black representation gets co-opted? 👥

Why are so many of our “representatives” in culture and politics drifting from the communities that raised them? What alternative models of power might also serve us? 🤔 Slide thru, let’s figure it out together!

Welcome back…

I’m here today for a very special interview with New York’s one and only @yourstru1ynate in celebration of his new album, ‘NYGP’. He is a one of a kind talent and is building something truly unique with the @manhattansurfteam, who I also got to interview @mynus.grey and @_deeswrld from the group.

Thank you to Nate for the wonderful opportunity, and thank you to you guys for sticking by me and the page while I deal with life lol.

Much love, enjoy!! 🤩🫶🔥
