10K - HEARTFELT GRATITUDE POST. Please take 2 minutes to read it. Many of you might relate with this

Started this page on May 12th 2020. Along with this started a website www.fooduniya.com which I build working 24*7 for a week. It was a blog of recipes and beyond. People outside blogging often ask me - " You have so many followers must be earning good money out of this"?

Little do they know that making money is not the purpose of every blogger. Initially I started it purely out of passion and my love to explore various cuisines and experiment with recipes. Am lucky to be making some money out of it after 1 year 9 months of blogging. But being commercial is not the GOAL here. Professionally I am a teacher, have worked for 10 years in corporate, an MBA from a reputed B School and working towards being a wellness expert. This is primarily my bread and butter. Blogging nurtures my creative side, it's my mojo.

There are extreme days of highs and lows in my blogging career. Some of my best work got minimal reach whereas mediocrity hit lakhs of views. Though I would whole heartedly thank Instagram for giving an opportunity to us to get creative I've still not understood it's algorithms. What I do love about the platform is that it offers immense learning opportunities every day from great fellow bloggers. I shut down my website a year ago as I spent so much time writing recipes but readership was low. People love videos and that's why I started making them.

Last but not the least due to personal crisis i had completely quit blogging in Dec 2020 and was inactive till July 2021. It was only because of constant push from my sister @duttashampa
that i restarted. My family and friends have played an immense role in getting my passion back. Can't be thankful enough. Please swipe to see the people who helped me achieve this milestone.
