A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAKEUP ARTIST FOR FILM ✨🎬
There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing that the creativity, skill, and vision you bring to set are helping bring a story to life. 💄🎥
Film makeup is so much more than makeup—it’s character development, storytelling, transformation, collaboration, and artistry. From the early call times and endless preparation to the final touch-up before “ACTION!” every detail matters.
Being able to use my creative skills in film and entertainment and know that my work is becoming part of a larger creative vision is a blessing I never take for granted. 🙌🏽
I’m not just creating a look—I’m contributing to the creative spaces, building relationships, expanding my craft, and leaving my artistic fingerprint on every production I touch.
This is what happens when passion meets purpose.
This is what happens when you trust your gift.
This is what happens when you continue to show up, create, collaborate, and make an impact.
🎭 Behind every character is a team of creatives making the vision come alive—and I’m grateful to be part of that team.
Here’s to more sets. More stories. More transformations. More opportunities. And more moments where I get to do what I love at the intersection of beauty, artistry, and film.
20+ years of experience. Still creating. Still learning. Still evolving. Still making an impact.

🎬✨ CREW SPOTLIGHT: SOUND. PRECISION. EXECUTION. ✨🎬

Will Jefferson played a critical role behind the scenes as our Sound / Boom Operator, making sure every word, every emotion, and every moment was captured with clarity.

And that role is no small task…

Sound is everything—and Will showed up with focus, precision, and consistency to get the job done right.

With a background as a professional videographer and photographer, capturing live events and working as a visual curator for Concert Daily, Will brings a trained eye—and ear—for detail that translated seamlessly onto set.

He didn’t just hold a boom…
He helped bring the story to life through sound.

From long shoot days to capturing clean audio in every environment, he remained dedicated, professional, and locked in.

That’s what real behind-the-scenes excellence looks like.

We are grateful for everything he contributed to this production.

There’s something powerful about being on set with people who truly love what they do. 🎬✨

Monday through Friday, everyone shows up to their full-time jobs—handling responsibilities, building careers, and navigating everyday life. But when the weekend hits or the call time comes through, they step onto set and give even more of themselves.
Not because they have to… but because it’s their passion.

Every person brings a unique gift—whether it’s artistry, vision, technical skill, or storytelling. And it’s those individual strengths, combined with real experience and dedication, that turn long hours into meaningful moments.
What makes it even more special is the bond that forms in the process. The early mornings, late nights, problem-solving, and creativity build more than just projects—they build relationships that last.
And from that? Beautiful, impactful, and even award-winning work is created.

Grateful to be surrounded by people who choose passion, who push through, and who continue to show up for their craft no matter how full their schedules already are. 💄🎥

🎬✨ Set Life Vibes! ✨🎬
There’s nothing like being on set — lights, cameras, creativity flowing, and a whole lot of makeup magic! 💄💫
I’m so grateful to do what I love — transforming faces, bringing characters to life, and having an absolute blast behind the scenes. Every brush stroke tells a story, and every day on set reminds me why I fell in love with this craft. 💋🎥
