WEEK 19 OF 52

“ONE OF DEM ONES” — HDQTRS

Sometimes you spend so much time looking for somebody to inspire you, guide you, validate you or show you the way… that you forget to look in the mirror.

Somebody is watching YOU.

Somebody respects how you move. Somebody admires what you’ve built. Somebody is learning from how you handle adversity. Somebody sees YOU as the example.

So every now and then, you gotta smell your own damn flowers.

Acknowledge the work. Respect the sacrifices. Appreciate the growth. Take care of yourself. And PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK—you made it through situations that once had you wondering how you were gonna make it at all.

That ain’t arrogance. That’s SELF-AWARENESS.

You might be looking around for “one of them ones”…

WHOLE TIME, YOU ONE OF DEM ONES!!

19 straight Tuesdays. 19 different records. The evolution continues.

Stream “ONE OF DEM ONES” on all platforms.
Tag somebody who deserves to hear that THEY’RE ONE OF DEM ONES.
Share it with somebody who still isn’t locked in.

WEEK 19/52. 33 TO GO.

BOP - HDQTRS

I’m Panola Rd to da core but grew up sliding through a Greater Decatur where the neighbors is Playa! Ya dig. Got my 1st Gold Grill (6 open face at the Top) from GLENWOOD 285 FLEA MARKET! Fk’d around and threw it away by mistake on the lunch tray at school one day. I WAS SAD AF😂😂😂.
Took some time but later I Got my 2nd grill from CANDLER ROAD FLEA MARKET (20 open face) and shortly after, I went to college at the great @savannahstate !

I’m grown as hell now and still keep a nice set of 14K over the Pearly Whites!

My current grill came from Eastside legend @scottyatl 🫡. Snagged 2 sets from him back when the storefront was on Candler a block up from where the flea market was.

WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR 1st or current grill made? I know @kingelway be molding too!🫡
