“If you don’t VOTE, don’t pull up a chair at Thanksgiving talking about what needs to change! 😂 Take your voice to the ballot before you bring it to the table.”

A barbershop is where CULTURE meets COMMUNITY, good vibes turn into real connections, and every chair has a story.

Fresh fades. Real talk. Solid bonds. 💯

Two great nights of @bar.bershoptalk ! Yesterday some amazing leaders came out to talk about Men Taking The Lead and tonight’s topic was on the 619,000 inactive voters with 100,000 of those being in Mobile!

Question 🙋‍♀️: If you choose not to vote why is that? Is it because you feel it’s inconvenient or that it doesn’t matter whether you vote or not?

Thank you @konquer_life for providing this platform for these exchanges to take place! If you weren’t in the room be sure to follow @bar.bershoptalk to be in the room for the next conversation! They’re not always “political”, but provide a space for us to “Embrace the culture and elevate our expectations” 😉

Some great connections were made, insightful conversations had, and impactful exchanges of information to ignite innovation that’ll move our community forward.

@lushconsultingfirm believes powerful conversations deserve powerful platforms, and meaningful community engagement begins with creating spaces where voices can be heard, perspectives can be challenged, and ACTION can follow! We’re proud to serve as the Public Relations Firm for @bar.bershoptalk , an impactful community initiative presented by @bravexreflection Inc.

This Sunday, we’re taking civic engagement beyond traditional forums and bringing it to one of the most influential gathering places in our communities… THE BARBERSHOP! 💈With Alabama’s voter registration deadline on October 19th and the General Election on November 3rd, this conversation couldn’t be more timely!

This is a nonpartisan community conversation focused on representation, accountability, civic education, and the importance of informed participation. All prospective candidates have been invited to join the conversation.

Special thanks to @standupmobile , and community partners helping bring this experience to life!
