Invisible Rituals is a group exhibit featuring work by noted artists Flying Knight (aka Jayda Knight,) Jun Kuang, Joe Velez and Wei Yan. Deftly explores the ways in which perception shapes aspects of contemporary representational painting. Where pattern, repetition and atmosphere appear vibrantly in the paintings and mixed-media work by Flying Knight and Jun Kuang, works by Joe Velez and Wei Yan display a keen, concentrated self-awareness and psychological depth.

Featuring works by: @flyingknight @junkuangkuang @joevelez @koomoowei

Over the past three months, we have had the privilege to be part of @project14c @arts14c , an amazing artist residency program with amazing space, amazing people to accompany us, and an awesome cohort of artists we now call friends. This has been also the opportunity to work on a new project About Time which we will continue to explore thanks to the program grant from @jcartandculture / @jerseycityartscouncil
To be continued…

You think you left NYC for space…but you actually just moved into the arts + fashion scene 👀

Spent the weekend at a local art exhibit in Downtown Jersey City + the WeFashion sample sale and it’s giving everything NYC energy…just more space and less chaos.

Art, fashion, brownstones, waterfront walks…it’s all here if you know where to look.

As someone who helps NYC buyers make the move every day, this is the side of Jersey City I love showing people.
