The ceiling breathes… the wallpaper weeps…
A silent pulse, in the static deep…
Turn the key…

The clockface melted in the noon heat
Dripping numbers at my feet
I followed one along the floor
And found a crack beside the door
A prism spilled from out the grain
A spectrum of a silent rain
That fell upwards, filled the air
With colors that had never been there

And the room… began to sigh
The corners lifted to the sky
A whispered chord from deep within
The sacred place where thoughts begin

Oh, I’m sailing on a sea of thought
With every truth that I was ever taught
Unraveling like a ball of string
To see the shape of everything
The mirror shows the back of my mind
And leaves the dusty world behind
On a trip… inside the trip…

The fireplace became a mouth
Speaking light from south to north
In a language made of shapes
Of winding vines and escaping apes
My hand dissolved before my eyes
A cloud of ancient, star-strewn dyes
And I was not a man, but space
A quiet smile on time’s own face

And the sound… became a sight
A river made of liquid light
It carried me through veins of stone
To a place I’d always known

Oh, I’m sailing on a sea of thought
With every truth that I was ever taught
Unraveling like a ball of string
To see the shape of everything
The mirror shows the back of my mind
And leaves the dusty world behind
On a trip… inside the trip…

The colors slow… the vision bleeds…
A seed of knowing plants its weeds…
The door is just a door again…
But the crack lets in… the crack lets in…
The ceiling’s calm… the wall is dry…
A deeper world… behind the eye…
A deeper world… behind… the…

"Batman & Robin"
Lyrics/Music/Vocals:
Dr. Victor Garcia da Rosa
#batman #rockandroll #musicvideo

(Intro)
A light, a single light, down in the stone
Where the river’s old whisper and the cold earth’s grown
Around a secret carved from the nation’s bone
The only answer this city’s ever known.

(Verse 1)
Deep in the belly of the hill and the house
Where the shadows get older and the silence gets loud
There’s a chamber cut from the living rock
A cold, concrete heart with a single clock
That ticks off the moments ‘til the signal screams
And cuts through the static of the city’s bad dreams
A shape in the gloom, in a somber suit
Stitching the law from a vengeance root
Pondering plans on a granite slab
The only prayer this underworld ever had.

(Chorus)
And when the ugly head rears up to strike
With the venom of a rattlesnake in the night
They answer back with a harder right!
Batman and Robin, two-fisted light!
For a country they love, in a desperate fight
Batman and Robin, two-fisted light!

(Verse 2)
A young fist beside him, a spark in the dark
A color of justice, a defiant mark
The Boy Wonder’s ready, no fear in his stance
They’re America’s answer, they’re giving crime a chance
To surrender early or to break too late
‘Cause they guard the line at the city’s gate
And the axis evil, a spreading stain
Tries to whisper its poison with the falling rain
But it meets a shadow that won’t be bought
A promise of battle that can’t be fought.

(Chorus)
And when the ugly head rears up to strike
With the venom of a rattlesnake in the night
They answer back with a harder right!
Batman and Robin, two-fisted light!
For a country they love, in a desperate fight
Batman and Robin, two-fisted light!

(Bridge)
This very hour, the world holds its breath
As evil tries to trade a life for a death
But in the cave where the silent bat flies
There’s a steel in the gaze under grim-disguised eyes
A stand to the last, a fight to the end
Not just a hero, but a brother, a friend
They’re ready to meet it, to pay any cost
For everything righteous that might be lost.

(Chorus)
And when the ugly head rears up to strike!
With the venom of a rattlesnake in the night!
They answer back with a harder RIGHT

San Diego is my hometown. I left for a two week vacation in August 1996 and never returned.

If #california wasn't so bad, I'd go:
