The irony of having ADHD is that you can find medication that genuinely changes your life, experience first-hand just how much easier things can be, and STILL forget to take the bloody stuff 🙃

For weeks, I was getting into such a lovely little routine. Waking up, getting dressed, filming my outfits, heading off to uni and actually feeling like I had some sort of structure to my days.

And the best part? I was enjoying it. Not just surviving the day, but actually feeling present enough to appreciate the little things.

Then I forgot my medication one morning. And another. And another.

At first, nothing seemed particularly different but slowly, the chaos started creeping back in.

Bedtimes got later because my brain wouldn’t switch off. Mornings got harder because I was exhausted. The little habits I’d worked so hard to build started disappearing, and suddenly everything required SO much more effort again.

And the most frustrating part is that I KNOW how much my medication helps. I’ve experienced the difference. I know what it feels like when my brain isn’t fighting me over every little task.

Yet somehow, remembering to take the thing that helps me remember to do the things is a task in itself. The ADHD paradox 😂

Anyway, today’s outfit is being filmed in a university car park because we’re apparently back to doing things in the most unnecessarily complicated way possible.

The routine isn’t gone forever. I just need to find my way back into it, preferably before the next plot twist 🫠
