Do you want to fish 2 poles for walleye on the Columbia? Or do you care about ESA listing classifications in Washington?

Discussion about how to make yourself heard on rule making activity on our latest podcast episode--definitely worth the 15 minutes of your time.

Check out this book I found!

The right to do anything still comes with a ton of regulation and responsibility. Don't believe the lies. Protect the right to wild food. #conservation #howlforwildlife #fishing #hunting #trapping

This is extra real these days. Boat gas and truck gas too. It's getting expensive. Worth it for a single coho? Obviously-- as long as my wife doesn't check the bank statement. #veryserioushunting #fishing #boating #fueledbynature

What is your best little library score? I often find kids books, teen books, and the occasional romance novel. But you can sometimes find GOLD there too. I only know about this book from @brian_call and @brad_whunt but I'm excited to dive in. #conservation #littlelibrary #riverofdoubt #veryserioushunting #roosevelt

Summer fishing is over. Time to start thinking about fall hunting.

It's been a great summer chasing fish. It wasn't quite the salmon season I expected with Baker and the Columbia fisheries having bad years. The snow pack from last year is going to hit us back in a couple years too, so that's nice.

But at least we have west side stocked pheasants, east side quail, and ducks to worry about. I've got a pup who is going to get some miles this fall.

The boat will be back for the sea duck shenanigans again, so don't worry, boys and girls.

National dog day. Here's mine. Tell me about yours?

Mine is a lab-ish doodle. Good boy. 9 months old. Friendly, smart, and not scared of nothing. I'm ready to get him on some quail and ducks this fall. He's going to do great!

Great morning coho fishing with my dad and son. A little lightning show, a little wind, waves more than we expected. The creel reports weren't inspiring, but i knew better anyway, because it was supposed to clear up and be nicer.

Reminder to always watch your weather reports and be ready to call it early. We almost called it as we loaded up the cooler and the reports we got back at the launch said it wasn't worth the waves. It ended up being why we left early, despite our earlier bravado.

Real stoked to land a nice 6 pound coho this early in the season despite the weather.

Fall is coming soon to the puget sound. Fall coho are starting to come in. Hunting seasons are kicking off already, too. The days are starting to show cooler. The berries are ripe. It's time to start the yearly transition to the best time of the year.
