Thank you to the Shriners fraternity and hospital system for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Meeting the kids this week, hearing their stories really puts your life into perspective. Thank you to my teammates, we went from strangers to brothers in a week. I feel blessed to be surrounded by such a great group of guys. Thank you to the coaches for a wonderful week of practice. Bittersweet doesn’t do it justice, the best teammates in the world, thank you guys so much for being there and taking me in for one last ride. Baseball is the most challenging thing, nothing will test you mentally the way it does. Coming out this year I wasn’t sure I’d be able to help, but you guys never had a doubt in me. “If you say it you’ve got to mean it” I couldn’t mean it anymore. I love you guys

the hardest goodbye..

thank you for everyone on this team it’s a blessing and a curse for goodbye to be this hard, “if you say it you gotta mean it” and i have never meant it more you all are forever family you guys have forever changed my life and i will never forget these moments from the bus rides to the wins and losses this sport has meant the world to me i am forever grateful and blessed i got to do it with such a special group of guys i am forever in debt to you guys ❤️ #99/38 forever ✌🏽
