Gave a new collar and zipper to an amazing jacket upcycled by @korn.upcycled @kornelija.art

Purchased this just about a year ago at the first Slow Fashion Day and decided to change out the green ribbing for a silk satin ribbon and the white plastic for rose gold.

And I most certainly left in the original “MADE IN GUATEMALA” tag. Human hands made this many years ago and two more sets of hands improved it.

Halloween is one of the most wasteful days of the year. Thrifting over buying new is better, sure, but you are still only wearing it once. I challenge everyone this year to make a costume that can DOUBLE as a costume AND something you can wear after the night is over! Or if you plan on going to multiple Halloween events and don’t want to go all out, this is a perfect way to create a simple costume. ❤️❤️ #wearupcycled

My Little passport TN got an unexpected makeover & I love the way it turned out! I went to @lowtide.market in SD with my daughter. She came specifically for @korn.upcycled to sew their artwork onto her tank. I didn’t bring anything to put a patch on, but when I saw this one, I knew it had to go on SOMETHING. I even love the zigzag pattern on the inside cover. *side note: I’m also obsessed with my @baumkuchenstudio “Love for Analogue” pencil charm. 😍
