I made it 🙌 a full-time DJ, booked every weekend with weddings and club gigs, just like I was about six years ago.

The question now is, “How do we surpass our old selves?” Because this is what we’re used to. This was the standard before. Does it pay well? Sure. But complacency is the killer of careers.

So I’ve been tweaking the strategy: professional pictures, an updated website, better-quality content, and so on. With the foundation done, my next project was to build better events for my community, or “Ajay’s Fridays.” The product now needs to match the marketing, which is what I’m building now. 🤞

Overall, if you have something that’s stopping you, then look at my page as a “leap of faith” with reality. Looking down my page, you can see I traded it all for a gamble on myself and look where I am.

You can do it too. And remember, it won’t be perfect, but that’s okay. That’s what people love about you. 🖤
