We are one step closer to a world where no one has to run through the dark alone. 🌌🏃‍♂️

We gathered at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon Expo for the premiere of Outrun the Darkness - and the energy in the room was unforgettable. Swipe through to see some of our favorite moments from the night! 📸➡️

From the film itself to the honest, vulnerable conversation that followed, it was a moving reminder of the power this running community holds: the power of coming together, having hard conversations, supporting one another, and celebrating resilience.

Light always finds a way through. 🌌🏃‍♂️

Gathering together to watch Outrun the Darkness at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon Expo was a powerful reminder of why we run, why we do hard things, why we support one another through the darkest miles.

And just like that… marathon week is over! 🏁✨

A very long week filled with endless work hours, very little sleep, and pretty much zero time or energy to train. 😅 But the happiness and satisfaction of seeing so many runners enjoying themselves, watching more and more women out there running, cheering for friends and people I love as they reach their goals, sharing moments with women I admire, and making so many memories with my team… that’s priceless. ❤️

A week that left me exhausted, but with a full heart.
A reminder that sometimes, even when we’re not the ones crossing the finish line, we get to be part of something pretty special.

Now it’s time to rest, recover, get back into my routine… and let’s be honest, my brain is already in VACATION MODE. ✈️🌴☀️

Almost there.

So many people to thank leading into our documentary premiere at @towaterfront42k, but to my runner brothers who ran beside me, helping bring Outrun the Darkness to life, helping bring me to life: I appreciate each of you @avinmarv @everydayfit.bernard @kosukemedia @dudeytsang

And in the words of Bernard, who was truer to his word than I think he even realized at the time: I might be crazy, but y'all followed me into battle. I will never forget that.

On October 16 at 8:30PM, we take over the @runcrs TCS @towaterfront42k Expo (After Dark!) to screen our short documentary by Kosuke Maeda, following John Shep’s monumental 142.2K Ultra-Double - completing the Sulphur Springs @sulphurspringstrailrace 100K and Ottawa Marathon @runottawa on consecutive days!
