What a season.🩷💙🩷💙🩷💙🏒🏒🏒

So incredibly proud of this group of girls & coaches and everything they accomplished this year. Their hard work, dedication, resilience, and heart showed every single time they stepped on the ice. They grew not only as players, but as teammates, leaders, and young ladies.

This season was filled with success, memories, laughter, challenges overcome, and moments we will never forget. You made history, inspired others, and proved what can happen when you believe in yourselves and each other.

Thank you for representing our team, organization , families, and community with class and determination. It has been an honor to be part of this journey and watch each of you shine.

End of season may be here, but what you built together will last far beyond the final buzzer.

So proud of you girls—keep dreaming big and working hard. The best is yet to come. 💫🏒 #ProudTeamManager #GirlsHockey #SeasonToRemember #StrongerTogether#halloffamer

Girl power on the ice, and on the mat.

A basketball star who’s true to her school, and a cycling phenom who keeps schooling the competition.

And an Alaska Winter Stars hat trick.

Six people and one team are the winners of the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame’s 2026 Directors’ Awards, presented annually in recognition of the best in Alaska sports. They’ll be honored at a June 3 ceremony at the Anchorage Museum.

See link in bio for story.

OMGEEEE!!!! WOWZERS 🤩

Our KPHA 12U all-girls team just did something that’s never been done bringing home the 12B Alaska State Hockey Championship in a coed tournament. They made history!!!

Six games. Three days. Countless moments of grit, heart, and determination. These girls believed in themselves, trusted one another, and showed what true teamwork looks like every time they stepped on the ice.

They played hard. They lifted each other up. And most importantly they had FUN doing it.

And that ending… one we’ll never forget. A powerful prayer circle after the final buzzer, surrounded by an incredible community of support. Seeing the other KPHA 12B boys team show up to cheer these girls on meant everything it was bigger than just a game. 🩷💙🩷💙🩷💙 WE DID IT!!!!

So proud of this amazing group for rewriting the story and proving that anything is possible. Thank you so much @jilly_schaefer for all you do and have done for the girls and hockey🏒🏒🏒
