Seattle Kraken Pike Place Market “salmon” alternate concept 🐟

Remember when the Kraken name hadn’t been announced yet and everyone thought they were going to be called the Sockeye?

Had to riff on that idea and try out the salmon pink colorway.

It seems like the team is going with a pretty bland color scheme for their Hometown Remix. So, this is the opposite haha. Let’s get some bold color in the league!

The design takes inspiration from the art deco neon signage of the market, and includes a nod towards Pacific Northwest Native American art forms with the rendering of the fish on the shoulder patch. Plus, couldn’t resist a touch of salmon texture sublimated in to the pink base! 🍣

What do you think of this concept?

Kraken Prospect Semyon Vyazovoi was incredible in his teams 3-1 win today.

41 saves and some big saves to keep the win for his team.

He’s been on fire in his first 7 games so far this year in the KHL with a record of 5-2-0 and a .944 sv%, 1.73 gaa and 2 shutouts 😳
