read. a journal entry.

if i’m being honest, i’ve been in a funk lately.

i’ve still been showing up to everything i’ve committed to, creating, working, doing what needs to be done, but underneath it all, i’ve felt lost.

after a shoot, i linked with my lb and we talked for a while. he said something that stuck with me:

“live in the moment. it’s okay to be lost. just be lost.”

i think i’ve spent so much time trying to have everything figured out that i forgot some seasons aren’t meant to be solved right away, they’re meant to be lived through.

i’ve always been comfortable being uncomfortable, so maybe this is just another chapter of growth. i’ll find my way. until then, i’m giving myself permission to simply be.

if you’re in a similar season, don’t beat yourself up for not having all the answers yet.

“sometimes you have to lose your way to find your purpose.”
