For @lukasdhont, the meaning of courage is something to be questioned.

With his previous films, Girl and Close, the acclaimed Belgian filmmaker has made a name for himself by exploring the delicate space between tenderness and the harsh realities of the world.
In Coward, his newest film and Belgium’s official Oscar submission, he turns to the First World War to tell a story about love, vulnerability and the courage to be yourself.

For ELLE, Dhont opens up about challenging traditional ideas of masculinity, finding intimacy in unexpected places and giving voice to those whose love stories have remained hidden.

♥️🙏Photographer Kris Dewitte Walking by the river ❤️
For thirty years, Belgian photographer Kris Dewitte has lived inside the world of cinema, alongside its directors, actors, and other creators. These are not red carpet portraits or promotional stills. They are quiet, unguarded and private moments, the particular electricity that exists just beyond the public gaze#krisdewittephotography

Vive Deauville.
