It was an amazing night at the @uncpbball vs. @umombb game, seeing my basketball worlds collide. Alumni (both HC & TBS), present players, and the future of TBS basketball. Special shout out to @cjsause for setting it up.

The world is a small but beautiful place and I am truly blessed to have worked with so many great young men. PLAYERS MAKE COACHES, and these young men have had a profound impact on my life as a husband, father, and man.

What a year! Congrats to KIPP: Pride High on a hard fought 48-46 victory. Their resolve and toughness was the difference in the game. Even in the loss I am incredibly proud of our varsity boys team for all they accomplished.

Losing is awful. But it's part of the struggle to get to where you want to go. I will not apologize for our goal of competing for a state title every season, and I will not apologize for challenging our players with what I believe is the best schedule in the state. Pressure busts pipes but also creates diamonds. The young men in our program are diamonds ready to shine!

Thank you to the community of Henderson and all surrounding areas. Your support during these playoffs has meant the world to me, and I hope to continue to do my part in unifying our community moving forward. Sports is an amazing way for that to happen.

Thank you to the families who have been with us every step of the way. I understand I am not the easiest coach to play for, but you guys allowed me to be myself and challenge your young men at every turn. They are better as a result.

Lastly, the players, and specifically to the Pride of 2022...words can't describe my emotions. I truly believe that you have done more for me than I could ever do for you. You helped me become a better coach, and you helped me become a better man. I love you all like sons, and I will forever be one call away. Keep your heads up, and BELIEVE in your potential. I always will.
