A year ago, a modest team of about 15 wonderfully insane, incredibly passionate and talented people came together with one simple intention: to make a film.

When I first started writing Dal Chawal, I had absolutely no idea it would become what it has. What began as a raw story slowly turned into a labour of love, built with endless patience, belief, laughter, and the generosity of so many people.

Today, I get to share the first glimpse of a very significant piece of my heart.
