Not waving, but drowning

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s no secret this year has been tremendously difficult for me and so many people I love. If you were there, you know my birthday started out kind of rough. I cried about a million times but it ultimately turned out to be the best birthday I’ve ever had. I owe it all to my amazing friends. I was moved to tears numerous times throughout the night by the way people showed up and showed me so much love. I am so fortunate to call LA my home and for the community I have found here. I love you all so much thank you for sticking by me and making life livable. If we didn’t get any photos together this sentiment is still directed at you as well! I hope you all know how much you mean to me and how much the love you share carries me through darker days. 💋🥀🕯️

So grateful to get to have my chosen family over for Friendsgiving. First turkey was a success and everyone brought such amazing food and energy. Some of these faves are moving away soon but for now we will spend the precious moments together. On the eve of a shooting at a queer space where 5 people lost there lives and 15 more injured it is clear we all need to love more and hate less. The world is a strange place for us sometimes but it’s moments like this that we will cherish 💚 to everyone that couldn’t make it that day you were missed and let’s make more memories soon 😘
