Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported the 3 of us along this way. It means the world to me that our baby is so loved by so many already! This was one of the happiest days of my life to have all my family & friends together. The biggest thank you goes to the husband who has been my absolute rock through this journey. I thank God for this blessing. We can’t wait to meet our little miracle. 🤍

The not so simple things I got to experience during our meal times in Kenya (some of my favorite moments of the days):

+ conversations so inspiring they can see the light in your eyes
+ thoughts so deep make you feel like you’re on the edge of something globe tilting
+ stars plastered across the sky & shining so brightly they make planetariums look weak
+ mindful eating & food seasoned so tastily you savor it with soulful hums and vigorous nods
+ hugs so comforting you take a deep breath and embrace the moment
+ laughs so riveting you welcome the contagion
+ smiles so white & wide showing thanks to God for life
+ wave sounds so soothing make you feel safe enough to flow & float
+ moments so priceless they can’t be copy-pasted
+ breath in my body so the energy lives on

We can benefit from being in the moment and reflecting on the “simple things” we typically overlook, yet are worth our gratitude, especially this week. Do yourself a favor and reflect on a few.

If you’d like to share, I’d love to read em in the comments. 🫶🏿
