The SF3 post I completely missed.
A night to remember, where your friends' films are screened at the Opera house. And to top that they end up winning awards like best actor, best filmbreaker, best screenplay etc.
Truly blessed and hard-working are these souls.

Hello everyone,
You’ve all been with me on this extraordinary journey of filmmaking this year, and I’m finally creating the film I’ve been born to make. It’s magical, it’s witchy, it’s seductive, it’s set in 1905 and there’s posh British accents. It’s absolutely everythig that makes me –me.

If you’re able to support our film, it would mean the world. I’m pouring everything I have into it, but there are a few elements that cost more than I can manage on my own right now. Your support would make such a difference. The link is in my bio 🥰✨

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who has already supported my journey. You have a piece of my heart forever.

LOGLINE - A dark, twisted descent into the edges of desire, The Forefather delves into the world of occultist Aleister Crowley and his obsessive fixation on newly engaged Ottie Edwards.

Inspired by the 1907 novel The Magician by W. Somerset Maugham, The Forefather explores the life of occultist Aleister Crowley, a pioneering figure of 19th-century ceremonial magic, and his fixation on newly engaged Ottie Edwards. Set in 1905, The Forefather is a delirious descent into desire and the dangerous awakening that arises when one steps into their power.

This film is my invitation into a world that has always called to me — a world that has magic laced into its very bones. This story is my way of exploring not only that pull for something extraordinary, but also the urges and desires that shape and destroy us.

Donations will go directly towards bringing this vision to life — build a world that feels as haunting and immersive as the story itself. This short film will serve as a proof of concept for a larger feature, a story that deserves to be explored in its full, cinematic form.

SUPERBOYFRIEND will have its world premiere at the Opera House as part of SF3’s gala finals on Feb 20th next year 😍✨ Cannot express what it means to have the first film I wrote & co-directed to be selected as a finalist & screened at this iconic venue. Turn your pain into art chicas, turns out it’s totally worth it ❤️‍🔥
