Kristin and the girls have spent a few days with us while they buttoned up a few Bainbridge things.
During that time Dru fell in love with having four sisters here waiting on him hand and foot. He loves all four of them but Little B stole his heart.

He followed her around, begged her to play, loved on her, and basically smothered her. She is now his new girlfriend.
When they went to leave, we told him to tell them bye, he instantly grabbed Brennan and began hugging her tight. Then he kissed her. It made my heart melt into pieces.

Almost a week ago we gathered here to say goodbye to dear friends moving, folks I had met in the shop years ago. ❤️
~
It got me thinking of how I’ve met so many people, that are now friends, inside these walls.
It’s one of the great joys of being here, having the opportunity to meet strangers and exchange them into neighbors, friends, heck, even a husband! ~

We have had happy-hours, heart to hearts, laughs, spills, parties and storms here. But most importantly we have had fellowship. 🤲🏻

I thank God for many, many things and this season I’m so grateful to have a spot for you to come, to be welcomed and known and a part of this community. You have all been a bright spot no matter how long the visit. ~

What is the best way to begin the week?

A FIELD TRIP.
Yesterday, Mrs. Walls’ 1st grade class travelled to Albany for a field trip. The class visited Thornateeska Heritage Center and Museum.

So we realize we are a tad bias but we have some of the BEST TEACHERS in this area and this week it has been a blast to see them showered with love.

Each day, the teachers were presented with a tray of sweets from amazing GCA families. On Thursday and Friday, they were fed by GCA families.
Each day, the teachers received a gift from GCA administrators reminding them how awesome they are.
Each day 5-6 teachers were rewarded with amazing prizes donated by local businesses.
A huge thank you for @k52melinda, @ambercmoore, @meredythke, Brenda Clements, Brittany Johnson, Christy Murray, @marquetteb, and the senior Class for the treats and food.
Also a huge thank you for the businesses that donated gifts to our daily drawing - Miranda Roberts from Mane Tamer, Debra Brock of the Henry House, Misty Floyd, @valeriefaircloth of 110 Broad, @diablosofbainbridge, @unclebillspizzeria, @april_brogdon_pritchett of Nikki Lynn’s, @cvturner1 of Vivie Kat, @amanda.inlow of Jagged Edge, and @serenity_med_spa.

Donuts for Dad!

Mrs. Walls’ 1st grade students were assigned to make a project with their dads. On Friday, the students presented their inventions to the class and all the dads.
For their hard work, Dads were rewarded with donuts.
