Mysore Palace Pt. 2

Saw this little girl with her little pink camera and it just felt like I'm seeing a younger version of myself. In that entire palace there were only two people with a camera- I & her.

I wish she never loses her spark for photography and neither do I 🤍🌸

Mysore Palace Pt. 1

@_ankitaxyz told me Mysore Palace is the most beautiful palace she's ever seen and when I saw it myself I knew what she meant. Unlike other places, here I didn't find it hard to imagine how people once lived here rather I could still feel their presence somehow.

The South has always fascinated me and although I don't know much about their culture I can feel it in one way or the other. This was my humble attempt to capture the palace with my new @sonyalphain camera I'm still getting comfortable with.

To the day when it felt like it's Independence Day all over again. The experience at Jantar Mantar and the wave of patriotism amongst the youth took us all back to era to freedom struggle we grew up studying about. All of us without any discussion experienced a common consciousness that made us all believe we're actually living those days again and that's what was the most beautiful thing about this protest.

This 80th Independence Day, I wish India to be the India, to be the Bharat, it was envisioned to be and was meant to be. A place of diversity yet unshakeable unity, of fraternity, justice and equity. A place of kindness, mindfulness and consciousness. For that to happen, we'll have to transform ourselves first because a nation can't transform unless its citizens do.

May we never forget the power we hold but may we also realise the responsibility we owe to our country, to our people, to our nature, to our animals, to our culture and to our ownselves 🤍🌼

Happy Independence Day! 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
