Time to bust some rusty nuts! 🔩😂

Huge thanks to @kroiloriginal for hooking me up with some penetrating oil, rust protection, and awesome swag!

The Lil Indian minibike is already in pieces, but there’s still plenty of rusty hardware to tackle. Looking forward to putting these products to work!

New toy added to the arsenal 😮‍💨🛠️🔥

Just picked up the CPS BLACKMAX BTLGP7 – 7” Gear & Pulley Remover and I already know this little guy is about to make life A LOT easier. 😂💪🏽

No more fighting with stubborn blower pulleys, motor pulleys, gears, or trying to improvise something just to get the damn thing off. 😂🔧 The BTLGP7 gives you the grip and leverage you need to get those stubborn pulleys moving so you can get the job done quicker, cleaner, and with a whole lot less headache. ⚙️🥶

Definitely one of those tools you might not use every single day… but when you need it, you’re DAMN glad it’s sitting in the van. 😮‍💨🤝🏽

Another CPS BLACKMAX toy added to the collection. 🖤💛🔥
Work smarter, not harder. 🛠️❄️

What started as a routine preventative maintenance turned into a service call… which turned into a lil tool pickup 😎🔧❄️

During the PM, I found the unit icing up 🧊 due to an airflow issue 💨. The belt was extremely loose from being worn and stretched out, and the pulley hadn’t been adjusted properly ⚙️

Tried getting the pulley adjusted by hand, but it was not about to cooperate 😂💪🏼. Instead of wasting time fighting it, I made a quick run to my local United Refrigeration 🚐💨❄️

Picked up a CPS BlackMAX 7” Gear & Pulley Puller 🔧⚙️🔥 — exactly what I needed to get the job handled the right way and keep things moving ✅

That’s one thing I appreciate about United Refrigeration 🤝🏼❄️ — whether it’s parts, tools, or equipment, they’ve always got what we need to keep the job going.

And a big shoutout to CPS Products 🔥🧰 for making quality tools that actually make our lives easier out in the field 💯

PM ➝ Service Call ➝ Tool Pickup ➝ Back to Work 😎🔧❄️

Huge load today. Most of it was up by the dunes where the king tides deposited it.

After a whirlwind week bringing New York Central No. 3001 home, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the donors, members, volunteers, sponsors, and partners who made this historic move possible!

The crew that prepared and transported No. 3001 included members of the @steamrailroadinginstitute and @nashvillesteam , along with dedicated railroad employees from Norfolk Southern, Amtrak, and other organizations.

We are especially grateful to @norfolksouthern, @kroiloriginal, Horizon Rail, Midwest Rail LLC, @nnycrrm, and the City of Elkhart, Indiana — as well as the many employees and representatives whose work helped us reach this milestone. #preservation #nyc3001 #norfolksouthern #steam
