This summer I collaborated with @kromantifest to teach about JUSTCOPPA’s natural technology. I met a group of young empress and taught them how to create natural color and crochet techniques. We colored with almond leaves, onions skins, and cloves 🌀

Not "self-made." More like elder-made.

Every step I take carries the footprints of those who walked before me.

I am made from the wisdom, patience, love, and prayers of my elders, the ones who speak my name in rooms I have never entered, who pray for me when I am not there, and whose sacrifices made a way for me long before I even knew I would need one.

Their strength lives in me. Their lessons guide me. Their faith covers me.

As Gaama Mama G always reminds us:

"Be good and do good in everything you do."

Those words are more than advice—they are a way of life.

As we prepare for The Rising of The Kromanti King and Kromanti Fest, we honor the ancestors, celebrate our elders, and carry their legacy into the next generation.

Rooted in his mother's unwavering devotion and guided by purpose, he rose determined to give his daughters what he once longed for—presence, guidance, and a legacy.

With faith as his compass, every step has been taken with one purpose: to make his family and ancestors proud.

His message is simple:

"If you're as determined to be successful as you once were to pursue the distractions of the streets, nothing can stop you. Stay focused, stay disciplined, and never give up."

Your past doesn't have to define your future. Discipline, purpose, and faith can change the course of a life—and the generations that follow.

More than a decade of impact. Countless lives touched. One shared vision.

We celebrate not only how far we've come, but the incredible community that has made this journey possible. Every member, volunteer, partner, sponsor, supporter, and advocate has played a vital role in preserving Indigenous knowledge, celebrating our cultures, and creating spaces where our traditions continue to flourish.

This milestone is more than a celebration of the past,it's an invitation to shape the future. Our work is far from over. The next chapter calls for even more voices, more hands, and more hearts committed to protecting our heritage and empowering future generations.

If our journey has inspired you, now is the perfect time to become a member, join us at our upcoming events, and be part of a growing movement dedicated to honoring Indigenous cultures, strengthening our communities, and creating lasting change.

If you know Mama the way I do, then you know this honor and recognition are not only deserved they are long overdue.

Too often, we are blessed to have greatness among us and fail to fully appreciate it until others remind us of its value. Sometimes it takes the world to celebrate our own before we recognize what has always been right in front of us.

Let this moment serve as a reminder of who she is, what she represents, and the impact she has made. While some are distracted by trivialities, the world is acknowledging her significance, her contributions, and her legacy.

Respect must be given where it is earned, and Mama has earned every bit of it.

Honor Mama!!!

One thing about our culture. It's loved and appreciated globally. @chronixxmusic has been one of the Reggae Warriors who have championed good Reggae music. The music has always lead the way. Allow it to do what Jah has intended it to do.
