A new project begins in Tribeca.

It’s the kind of building that makes the case for itself - a lobby with real presence, the weight of its history still intact. Inside, the apartment opens up in light, original wood floors underfoot, views we’re treating as part of the material palette rather than a backdrop.

Today we’re hosting friends✨

I woke up early and stopped by the farmers market for fresh vegetables, fruit, and, of course, a good loaf of bread.

Tonight’s menu:
• An easy Caesar salad (my shortcut version)
• Bread & butter
• Buttery fried baby eggplants with chili crunch, yuzu, and olive oil
• Baby potatoes with garlic, dill, and butter
• Tomato, peach & onion salad
• Cornichons and olives to snack on

To be honest, we host friends almost every week. It’s become one of our favorite traditions, and I love trying a new recipe every time.
