Yet another client gives our stylists two hours and really put everyones creativity to the test.

We asked the team what they would do again, and let’s just say… no two visions were alike… which is actually the fun part.

Give different artists the same person, the same amount of time, and a little creative freedom, and you’ll get completely different ideas.

It’s also a little glimpse into how we approach hair at Rosewood. We all have our own specialties, our own creative instincts, and our own ways of bringing a look to life.

So, if this client were sitting in your chair, what would you do?

More importantly… which Rosewood stylist are you trusting with the two-hour challenge?

Tips aren’t guaranteed income.

So we don’t build our business around them.

Gratuity simply isn’t part of the business model at Rosewood.

One thing we value deeply is price transparency. We want our clients to know what they’re investing before their appointment starts, and we want our stylists to understand the value of their time and what they’re earning.

No guessing. No awkward math at checkout. No weird energy around money.

The price is the price.

Because once the money conversation is out of the way, everyone can relax and we can focus on what you actually came here for.

🌹Great hair. Great conversation. Great transformations. 🌹

And honestly? That simplicity is one of my favorite things about the way we work.

We believe there are easier, clearer and more intentional ways to do salon life — for the people sitting in our chairs and the people standing behind them.

If that sounds like the kind of salon experience you’ve been looking for, maybe it’s time to make Rosewood your hair home.

Whether you’re looking for a new stylist or you’re a stylist looking for a new way to work, there’s room for you here. 🌹#dmvhairsalon #rosewoodsalon #greatfallsvahairsalon #greatfallsva #novahairstylist

A day in the life of a Rosewood stylist…

It’s a little bit of everything.

Getting the day started, setting up for the first guest, mixing color, foiling, toning, styling, cleaning up, answering questions, grabbing a quick snack when there’s a second to breathe… and, of course, plenty of conversations and laughs along the way.

Some days are full of big transformations. Others are about maintaining the color you love, refreshing your extensions, or simply giving your hair the care it needs.

And while every day (and every head of hair) looks a little different, there’s something we love about being behind the chair: getting to know our clients, creating something customized for them, and being part of their routine.

It’s more than just doing hair. It’s the people, the creativity, the conversations, the teamwork, and all the little moments in between that make a day at Rosewood what it is.

Come spend the day with us.

There’s something so special about hearing that a client felt heard, cared for, and genuinely happy with their hair.

We’re so grateful for every kind word and every guest who trusts us with their hair.

Ready for your own Rosewood experience? We’d love to see you in our chair.

Blondes are more complex than you think.

When you say “I want to go blonde,” that can mean so many different things.

Platinum. Champagne. Beige. Honey. Butter. Ash. Bronde. Golden. Dimensional.

And then there’s the question of how you get there.

Your starting color, previous color, natural undertones, hair history, and overall hair health all play a role in creating a blonde that actually works for you.

That’s why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all blonde. Your color should be customized to your hair, your goals, and the way you want to wear it.

Because being blonde isn’t just about being lighter.
It’s about finding your blonde.

Why don’t we double book?

Because for us, it’s more than a scheduling preference. It’s a belief.

We believe that when you sit in our chair, you deserve your stylist’s full attention.

Hair is personal. Your color history matters. Your texture matters. Your goals matter. Sometimes you have questions, sometimes plans change during the appointment, and sometimes your stylist needs to make thoughtful adjustments along the way.

Not double booking means our stylists can slow down and actually work rather than constantly watching the clock. They can focus on formulation, placement, technique, consultation, and all the little details that contribute to a great result.

And there’s another side to it that matters just as much: our stylists deserve to enjoy their work, too.

We don’t want our team spending their day rushing from one client to another, trying to remember who is processing, who needs a toner, and who is waiting for a blowout. We want them to have the space to be creative, present, and proud of the work they’re doing.

That doesn’t mean every appointment is slow or that we can’t be efficient. It means we’re intentional about how we use your time.

We believe luxury isn’t just about the finished hair. It’s about how you feel while you’re here, and how your stylist feels while creating it.

At Rosewood, the vibe is intentional hair.

We’re not trying to see how many clients we can fit into a day or how quickly we can turn over a chair.

We care about having the space to actually do the work.

Space to think.
Space to create.
Space to try something new.
Space to breathe between clients.
And space for life to happen without the entire day falling apart.

There are plenty of ways to be successful behind the chair. We’ve just decided that constantly moving faster and doing more at once isn’t the version of success we’re building here.

Our stylists work at their own pace, set schedules that work for their lives, and have one person in their chair at a time.

It creates a different kind of salon environment.

Calmer. More focused. More intentional.

And if you’re a stylist who’s tired of feeling like your entire career is one long rush to the next client…

you might like it here .

We all work for different reasons.

Some of us are working toward big goals, some are building the life we’ve always wanted, and some are here for the creativity.

Our reasons may be different, but
they all come together to create Rosewood.

Different goals. Different personalities. Different strengths. One team.

And somewhere between the good hair, the big laughs, the behind-the-chair chaos, and cheering each other on, we’ve created a place we’re genuinely proud to be a part of.

Good vibes. Good hair. Lots of fun. That’s Rosewood.

Making stylists and clients guess the lyrics…

Somehow this turned into a full-blown competition, complete with wrong answers, confident guesses, and one of a kind performances.

These are the moments that make Rosewood feel like Rosewood. We genuinely love spending time together, and we think that kind of energy makes every day a little more fun.

If you’ve ever wanted to know what the vibe is like around here… this is pretty much it.

Dimensional color that looks good from every angle? We know a thing or two about that.

The difference between beautiful color and customized color is in the details. Thoughtful placement, seamless blending, and the way the light catches every ribbon of dimension create a look that’s just as stunning in motion as it is in the mirror.

This gorgeous transformation was created by Kelley, whose services are $125/hour with all-inclusive pricing, meaning everything needed to achieve your result is included. No surprise add-ons, just a personalized experience and beautiful, healthy hair.

If you’re ready for color that looks effortlessly dimensional from every angle, book an appointment with Kelley. Your dream hair is waiting. 🤍

We’ll do anything for content… and we mean anything.

Need someone to hold a ring light? We’re on it.

Need five takes of the same trend? Say less.

Need us to awkwardly film in front of a full salon? Somehow, we’ve lost all sense of embarrassment.

Anything for the content.

The best part? We have just as much fun making these videos as we do hanging out with our guests.

Fun poses to try with your team. 😂

Just a reminder that work doesn’t have to feel like work when you’re surrounded by the right people.

Every day at Rosewood is filled with laughter, creativity, support, and celebrating every transformation together. It’s the kind of environment that reminds us why we fell in love with this industry in the first place.

And yes… we have just as much fun as it looks. ✨
