HUGE thanks to our amazing Board of Directors for getting up early on a Saturday to help us kick off our strategic planning for the next three years! We have big plans as we enter our ~sustainability era~ to make sure our services are here for the long-haul. 💛

(We also loved being able to gather in DIG’s old building, beautifully transformed into the amazing @helixhall, while snacking on @gablehousebakes pastries. 🥹😍)

Happy Monday! We got lucky enough to kick off our weekend celebrating one of our founding Board members, Carly’s, birthdays mostly* all together. 💛

The faces you see here represent a Board team that goes above and beyond for the mission of DIG. We are so grateful to be led by such a powerfully kind bunch. Thanks to each and every one of you for your service! It does not go unnoticed. 💛

* we missed you, Corey, Cathleen, and Kylie!

The final poster session an talks at NOS were great. Congrats to Seoyeon (Joelle) @joelle.syk224 for winning the undergrad poster award in the final session! It was a fantastic five days in San Diego.

Second full day at the NOS conference! Today we presented some of our work at the poster session, saw several talks, notably one from 2018 Nobel laureate Frances Arnold, went to the beach (of course) and had a tasty Lebanese meal. I’m not sure if we’re going to come back to PA.

Amazing start to our National Organic Symposium #nos2022 trip to San Diego! The weather has been amazing and the views for sushi lunch were even better. 😎It has been fun meeting new people at the conference and learning a lot of new chemistry. Looking forward to presenting our posters over the next two days.

CONGRATS @bucknellu on a completed semester and, if you’re a senior, graduation!! 💙🧡 Thank you for leaving behind your gently used furniture and household items for DIG to pass onto local families in need! We spent today scooping up the last of donations post-graduation and boy, you did not disappoint. 🎉😅

Big thanks to our Board members, Alicia and Mike, and to Gabby for spending a few hours this afternoon loading up the truck!

P.S. Our open volunteer hours have been moved to TOMORROW (Tuesday) from 1-3 PM. Please come by and lend a hand with unloading! We will take all the help we can get. 💪🏼
