NAIABCA INVITE: 6TH PLACE

We bowled in our first ever NAIA invite this weekend in Addison and it was a great weekend overall. It consisted of 5 Individual games Friday, 25 baker games Saturday. Top 8 in points move on to Sunday for mini mega matches. Friday we were able to grind through the whole day to get us into a good spot heading into Saturday. For Saturday, it was another grind day for 25 baker games, we performed really well, especially during the last set when we needed it most. We were able to beat SCAD in 5 baker games total pinfall in the last set to get us the points we needed to advance to the top 8 cut.

Lastly on Sunday, seeds 5–8 competed for 5th place. We were competing for 5th place as we were the 8th seed. For the Mini Mega Match Format (Teams must win 2 legs to advance), 1 traditional team game total pinfall, 4 Baker games total pinfall, If necessary: Best 3 out of 5.

We bowled well the 1st match and went 2-0 against Viterbo with some amazing shotmaking and energy from all of us. For the individual game I was able to shoot 257, and for the baker portion I was able to anchor for that match and it was a great feeling being able to throw some good shots when we needed them. All of that lead to us advancing to the 5th place match against William Penn. Unfortunately we just didn’t have our best bowling and ultimately finished in 6th, going 0-2 against them.

It wasn’t the finish we were hoping for but it was an amazing weekend overall. Individually, I was throwing the ball with much more confidence and felt like myself again. As a team, I’m very proud of what we accomplished. We did a lot of amazing things to get to where we did and we fought hard the whole way. This team is something special and we’re going to continue to work and grow everyday. Congrats to the Judson girls for getting 5th! And great bowling to all the teams this weekend! Onto the Leatherneck in a month!

@motivbowling Jackal Ghost, Crimson Jackal, Pride Empire, Venom Shock and Venom Hysteria put in the work this weekend. And as always thanks to @krstrikeforce for making the best shoes!

Striking Against Breast Cancer EYT: 5th-8th
.
Not much to say for this one, to be honest. I qualified second after a grind of a qualifying set and lost in the first round due to several mistakes. Now I know what to work on in the future, starting with swinging the lane effectively. Also, making makeables would help.

MADISON AREA SCRATCH TOUR CHAMPION🥇🏆
Ik it’s a late post but decided to make the last minute decision to drive down to Madison to bowl the MAST and I’m glad I did. Sunday we bowled on the 2026 Team USA Trials day 1 (Men’s) pattern and overall played just how I thought it would started off with none other then the @hammerbowling Purple hammer 78D and then made the switch to none other then the best pearl ball ever the @rotogripbowling Hustle wine and am I glad I did. I was 9th after the first 4 games and went into match play looking to dominate and that I did I was able to run the bracket all the way to the end to take home the win and in the finals I won 247-185 so it felt good to get this win and a very good confidence booster going into the next couple of months of bowling.

First Motiv ball definitely hasn’t disappointed. I didn’t have the pleasure of throwing the original JG, but this one hookssssss. I’ve always liked big asym balls that let me get further left and add some angle, and still get the corners out. Ball will definitely be seeing tons of lane time when they’re flooded.
