Yall know I love my Broadway interviews and getting to sit down with @krushballerina from Water for Elephants was so much fun as we talked all about how life imitates art as she travels around the country, similar to her character, Marlena, who lives the circus touring life.

Although this is LONG overdue- good things take time to let go of….

I never thought joining the circus would change my life so completely and now I find myself writing a love letter to the best train I ever found myself on.

The National tour of Water for Elephants was my biggest career challenge yet and a constant reminder that the road don’t make you young. Full of endless hours at the drawing board and infinite amounts of team work. I am honored to have been a part of a group and a story full of so much magic. Cheers to:

30 cities
285 shows
1,140 “Bring in the Elephant”s
Multiple puddles of tears for Silver Star
And countless friends made along the way.

In a final farewell I encourage you to remember:

1. Elephants prefer whiskey.
2. Horses can fly.
3. And boy, aren’t we lucky?

Xoxo
