The other day I said…

“It’s on rotisserie” when I meant to say rotation. 😵‍💫 we’re doing great.

There was a season when meeting a friend for coffee meant showing up in leggings, a sweatshirt, and a topknot… if I even made it out of the house. 😂

And honestly, that season had its own kind of beauty.

But now, as a mom of teenagers, I’m finding myself in a new season. One where I have a little more time to meet a friend for coffee, bring my laptop, laugh about life, and maybe put on a cute outfit and some fun accessories just because I feel like it. ☕️✨

I’m realizing that getting older doesn’t have to mean mourning the seasons that have passed. It can mean getting excited about the season you’re stepping into.

My kids are growing up, and while that comes with its own mix of emotions, I’m also discovering new parts of myself along the way.

I’m not trying to look younger. I’m learning to feel more like ME again. ❤️

So if you’re in this season of motherhood, or getting close to it, maybe instead of dreading the passing years, we can start looking forward to what’s still ahead.

More time for friendships. More time to explore what we love. More time to feel good in our own skin (and in a cute outfit 😉).

Here’s to embracing this season and adding just a little MOORE of the things that make us feel like ourselves. ✨

What’s something you’re looking forward to in this season of life?

We came, we saw, we swiped. 🛍️ Found some unexpected deals, got some much-needed honest feedback, and laughed so hard! 10/10 day with my girl @krystaladele

Actual conversation I had with @krystaladele ⬇️

👩🏼: Just when I thought I was doing so well with accepting that Eli going to school, I just got the daily schedule of what they’ll be doing every day that he’s there and now I’m having serious FOMO. Like I wanna see him in music class, or show and tell, and PE. What do you mean I don’t get to see any of that??

👩🏽Krystal: Oh friend. That’s all part of it. It will be so good for him to have some independence too!

👩🏼: I know but I want to WATCH him be independent lol

👩🏽: Be independent with me lol

👩🏼: Exactly 😂

One is a SAHM to a toddler + 35 weeks pregnant that sleeps a lot & the other is a working mama running kids to band camp, cheer practice + stays up way too late 😴😂
